If you have the Travel Channel. I can highly recommend trying to catch the program "Bourdain in Beirut".
This is an excellent episode produced by Anothony Bourdain who is used to sitting at restaurant tables telling crude jokes about tourists, and telling stories about the people who are REALLY cooking your $50.00 steak.
